Is there more information available on the 1000 write limit on the Magalpha position sensors? What drives this? What is the exact failure mode past 1000 writes? How does this vary over temperature?

It is the limit of write operations the NVM supports, below which the NVM is guaranteed to store the register values correctly.
It is provided by the NVM manufacturer. It is not affected by temperature.
