I bought the MAG10-2B-40.25 magnets in half cylinder configuration, to use with the MA732 to detect rotations in side-shaft.
But I don’t understand how to position them between each other and how to create the support for it. I will position them on the opposite sides of the rotating shaft, and I don’t understand if the diameter side should be on the shaft, since like that the magnets will repulse each other.
I spoke to our team, and they mentioned that these are biaxial magnets. They also said that the biaxial magnets are for on axis use or end of shaft.
