MA600 seen as Gen 7 on the MagAlpha Evaluation App

Hi,

We have built custom PCBs with MA600 sensor. When I try to access the BCT settings in the MagAlpha Evaluation App, my sensor is seen as Gen 7 and the options given in the app totally change.

Please let us know what could be the issue.

I am looking into this issue for you. Can you please screenshots of what you see in the GUI before and after attempting to access the BCT settings?

Please see attached screen shot.
Changing the BCT doesn’t affect the Sensor Generation detection.

For anyone else facing this issue, this happens in two situations:
(1) You are using an older batch of MA600 sensors, get the latest ones from Dkey
(2) the App would cause a glitch. Sometimes just restarting the MACOM Eval app would go from Gen7 to Gen 6.

hello, I have the same issue. I bought the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff . An also bought some MA600. When I was testing the generation was 6. Now I bought new lote of Ma600 and the generation is 7. All parameters in the MagAlpha Evaluation App are different. Any suggestion to resolve this problem?
