Inquiry regarding the MPM3683 package refernce

Dears

We are currently conducting tests using the MPM3683. Occasionally, we encounter an issue where there is no output voltage. We would like to make the following inquiries.

Could you please explain the “SHADED AREA IS THE KEEP-OUT ZONE. ANY PCB METAL TRACE AND VIA ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CONNECT TO THIS AREA ELECTRICALLY OR MECHANICALLY.” phrase found in the datasheet?

Please explain red box(A) of the attached file.

Thank you

Hi @henry.jung ,

The keep-out zone means that no PCB copper (traces, pours, or vias) should be placed beneath the shaded area of the module, regardless of whether it is electrically connected to the device. This prevents interference with the integrated inductor’s magnetic field and helps ensure reliable assembly.

Dear Gabriela

Thank you for your support.
