Input Filter for MP4569

Hi there
I would like to use MP4569. Can you provide a spice model or data which helps to calculate an input filter to pass emi-testing?
Thanks and best regards
Patrik

Hi @patrik.rusterholz,

We do not have a spice model as of now. However, few things you can follow to improve EMI:

  1. Please use small and flat coil inductor.
  2. Make SW area is smaller
  3. suppress SW spike by adding a snubber circuit.
  4. Use pi-filters.
The layout of the PCB plays a vital role in EMI noise. Please follow the guidelines given in the DS.
We have a lot of articles and webinars related to EMI which can be found here.

I hope this helps.
Thank you
Saurabh

Hi Saurabh
Thank you for your answer. I am looking for data to calculate the correct values of the Pi filter. I will search the attached links. If you have a direct guide regarding the pi filters, that would be great.

Thanks and best regards
Patrik

Hi @patrik.rusterholz,

Please find the design of pi-filters here.
