I would like to control the output voltage using I2C communication with the MPM4730. In this case, do I need to configure the R1 and R2 values of the FB pin? The input voltage (VIN) is 5V, and the target output voltage range is 1.08V to 5.5V.

Welcome to the MPS Forum. I see you have questions regarding the MPM4730.
I would recommend setting the resistor divider for your lowest output voltage (1.08V). You can then use register 00h and 01h to adjust Vref accordingly to adjust Vout according to equation 1.
