Fixed frequency current-mode and hysteretic control LED Driver

For your DC-DC lighting offering, I noticed that there are two main control schemes: fixed frequency current-mode and hysteretic. Which one should I use if I need fast PWM dimming response?

Use the ones with hysteretic control scheme since their PWM dimming response time is much faster than that of current-mode control ones. For the hysteretic controlled LED driver, the high side FET will turn on immediately when the PWM input goes high and it remains on until the inductor peak current reaches the upper reference limit. Whereas the current-mode ones will take several clock cycles before the LED current reaches regulation level.
