Feedback resistor selection on MPM54304GMN-0001

Dear team,

I am planning to use MPM54304GMN-0001in my design. I need to generate 5V, 3.3V,1.8V, 1.5V from this using external resistor divider. Can you please suggest the resistor values for same.

Thanks

Hi @vkj,

Please refer to equation 1 on page 28 under the Output Voltage setting.

I hope this helps.

Thank you
Saurabh

Hi
Can you please verify the Schematic I attached.

Thank You

Hi @vkj ,
I am also planning to use MPM54304GMN-0001.
After reading this thread, I am still confusing on how to set output voltage for MPM54304GMN-0001.
Page28 equation 1 is saying : Vo1=(R1+R2)*Vref1/R2
What is Vref1 for MPM54304GMN-0001?
My understanding is that MPM54304GMN-0001 is not using I2C and using resistor to set output, should Vref1 (and Vref2 to 4) a constant value? What is it?
Please let me know if I miss something.

Thanks
Andrew

Hi @andrewli2003,

The MPM54304’s output voltage can be set by either I2C or resistor divider.
The FB pin can be directly connected to get output voltage or the resistor divider network for higher output voltage. (Pg. 28 of DS)

The Vref can be set according to your requirement. Vref can be set from 550mV to 1.82V, 10mV per step. Please refer to the Reference Voltage truth table (Pg. 27 of DS) to set the D[6:0] bit according to the desired Vref voltage.

Thank you
Saurabh

HI @MPSNow_Saurabh,
Thank you for your reply!
My question is specific to MPM54304-0001, which is not using I2C.

For this case of MPM54304-0001, what should be the Vref? 0.6V?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi @andrewli2003,

Yes, in this case it will take the default value of 0.6V.

Thank you
Saurabh
