EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff detects wrong MA600 generation

I bought the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff months ago**.** When I was testing the Ma600 sensor the generation was 6. Now I bought new batch of Ma600 from mouser and the generation is 7. All parameters in the MagAlpha Evaluation App are different.

I already located some Ma600 into the designed PCBA, and I can not set up them, also I can not buy the MA600A due my company just allow me request from some online places. Any suggestion to resolve this problem?

I have some questions related to your issue:

  • To clarify, did you test sensors coming from both the old and the new batch on your PCBA?
  • Could you share the schematics and layout of your PCBA?
  • What is the length of the cable connecting the PCBA and the EVKT-MagAlpha-MagDiff?
  • What SPI frequency are you using? Could you try decreasing it and see if it helps?
