EVAL6540 CAP values vs. data sheet CAP values

The EV6540H-U-00A.pdf schematic shows VIN decoupling of 470uF & three 4.7uF CAPS but
the MP6540H.pdf datasheet Typical Application shows decoupling of 100uF & 10uF & 100nF

My system Vin is 24V at 4.7A MAX. What decoupling should I use

Hi hjwanke,

Thanks for posting on the MPSNow Forum.
I’d recommend using the EVB decoupling capacitor recommendations since you have a higher Vin.
But you can adjust accordingly using Table 3 provided in the datasheet:
