EV2617H-L-00A evaluation board (MP2617H) stop working

Hello, I will use MP2617H to our IoT devices production. I ordered EV2617H-L-00A evaluation board. First I tested with 12V input. I used 1000uF capacitor at VBATT pin as a battery. VSYS and VBATT output is OK as specs.

But after few tries, VIN not powered to VSYS and VBATT. I use 12V input, Li-ion 1S battery, jumpers M0 and M1 are HIGH, EN jumper is LOW. ISET, NTC,pins are float on the board. I got 4.47V from VCC when VIN is 12V. But it didn’t charge battery and supply VSYS. Board is only supplied power to VSYS when battery is connected. If I detached the battery it didn’t use to VIN for supply VSYS. What is wrong ? Can you help me about this issue.

Hi @barismadasoglu,

For the charging function to be operational, you would want to ground the Iset using a resistor. Keeping it floating would disable it. Please refer to the Logic control section in the DS. You can also refer to the typical schematic diagram for Vin 12 which is given at the end of DS.
