Error in Application Note? Article #0093 Rev. 1.0, Dated 9/9/2022

I refer to the Application Note titled “ARTICLE – PASSIVE FILTER DESIGN CONCEPT OF BUCK
REGULATORS FOR ULTRA-LOW NOISE APPLICATIONS“ Article #0093 Rev. 1.0 dated 9/9/2022.

While reading this note, I have a doubt about equation (2) on page 2, given as Δ𝑄𝐶=(𝑇/4)*(𝐼𝐿,𝑝−𝑝/2) where as I think it should be Δ𝑄𝐶=(𝑇/2)*(𝐼𝐿,𝑝−𝑝/2)

Can somebody help me to understand my mistake?

Hello @shrikris51,

Welcome to MPS technical forum. The equation is derived by the area of the region(triangle) with base as T/2(highlighted in image below) and height as ILp-p/2. So the charge ∆𝑄c = 1/2 *(T/2)*(ILp-p/2) = (T/4)*(ILp-p/2). Please let me know if this helps.
