Difference between MP2491C and MP4245

Hello, what is the difference between MP2491C and MP4245 if used for Type-C PD with MP5031GRE-00A3-Z.
Which of these do you suggest to use for the new design?

Hi @vzlosnikas,

The MP2491C is a step-down converter without I2C and MP4245 is a buck-boot converter with two time MTP via I2C. They both can be used but would recommend to have I2C DC/DC so it can have more flexibility for applications.

If you check the MP5031 datasheet and look for figure 22, you will find a typical application with MP4245 and MP5031 which will help in your design. Please follow the recommended layout guidelines.
