Hi,
- What is the default settings for the power on sequence for the evaluation board?
- If I attach external resistors to set the voltages, will this overrite the default voltages (1, 3.3, 1.8, 1.5) that the board comes with?
I would like to start useing it without having to set any registors.
Thank you.
Hello Thomas,
This is the sequence that should be used when starting the EVM54304. Does this answer your question? Or were you asking for a more in-depth rail sequencing for this module?
As for the default settings, I believe this module is set to external resistors, so any external resistor changes that you would set would certainly override the default voltage settings. Double check the datasheet for all default settings to see if they all align with your application.
Best,
Krishan
Hi Krishan,
Thank you for replying.
Yes it was the rail sequencing I was after?

Here is the default power-on sequence as shown in Figure 7 (page 33) of the MPM54304 datasheet, where the total elapsed power-on time is 3.2us by default:
This of course can be adjusted via register settings.
Best,
Krishan
Hi,
I have a follow up question on the voltage settings with external resistors.
What is the reference voltage, if I want to use external resistors AND not using any I2C setup (if possible)?
To me it looks like you have to set up the device to use external resistors?
Also with Vout_Select1 = 0, why is it internal feedback divider and not external divider?
