Current Sensors in Motor Drives and Inverters

How do i use/place current sensors in Motor Drives and Inverters?

Current sensors can be placed on the positive or negative rail of an inverter or, better yet, on the switching phases directly. That is where the MCS180x devices really shine - with ultra-low primary impedance, isolation up to 2.4 kV, and 5 us response time, a single device can be used for control feedback and switching device (IGBT / MOSFET) protection.
