Could I use the NB671LA or NB671LB as a replacement for the NB671LC?

Hi Sir.

I found that the NB671LC on my ASUS H510 motherboard is shorted on Pin 1. I have been trying to find a replacement, but no suppliers seem to have the NB671LC in stock. The only available parts I can find are the NB671LA, NB671LB, and NB691GG-Z.

Could I use the NB671LA, NB671LB, or NB691GG-Z as a replacement for the NB671LC? If so, which one would be the most suitable? Are there any differences in functionality, pinout, or default settings that I should be aware of before replacing it?

Thank you for your support.

It looks like the LA and LB version have an EOL status. We do have the following part with the same voltage and current specs that could be a good fit:

MP8765 | 24V, 6A High Efficiency Synchronous Step-down Converter with Hiccup OCP, PWM/PFM mode pin and output discharge | MPS

The package and dimensions are the exact same. All pins are the same as well except for the MODE pin as seen on the LC version. Hopefully you see stock of this part on your end.

Best,

Krishan
