Hi,
Is there any sequence to follow while configuring multiple voltages in MP5611?
While generating voltage for ELVSS by following the timing sequence mentioned in the datasheet, got the expected voltage.
But, when generating voltage for AVDD using the same sequence didn’t get the expected voltages. The pulses to set the second voltage was set by pulling the CTRL low for 10 microseconds , which was kept high after the first pulse transmission. Then the second pulse was then send with the same sequence as of the first. And the CTRL line is then kept high, but both the voltages were not set as expected.
Hello priya.m,
To clarify you are sending the number of pulses that correspond to the table below?
Your Tlow and Thigh should both be ~10uS.
After sending pulses to set desired output voltage I believe you must also allow enough time for the values to be stored. Then send the next group of pulses to set desired voltage.
Hi,the pmic is configured to generate voltages
- AVDD: 2.8V
- ELVSS: -2.4V
- ELVDD: 4.6V
Current issue is PMIC shutsdown when a load (LED)is connected while power up.But, the voltage rails are stable and the PMIC operates as expected when the load is hotplugged to the PMIC once it’s configured with the CTRL pulses.
Would it be related to power sequence?
as of now steps followed:
1.Set pmic cntrl pin high
2.delay of 11milliseconds for initialisation
3.toggle control pin for required number of pulses
4.set control pin back to high state
5.delay of 150microseconds to store
