Can two MP6612D devices be used in parallel to load share?
Hello, welcome to the MPS forums!
Are you are trying to drive a motor using this device with a current higher than 5A, is that correct?
I ask this question because this is not the typical application of the MP6612D. Although, you theoretically should be able to do this.
Where are you at in terms of the design of your system? What is the output current you are attempting to drive? If you are not far into design and you are trying to do this, then I can recommend the following:
- MP6615 | 40V, 8A, H-Bridge DC Motor Driver | MPS (monolithicpower.com)
- MP1930 | Max 75V, 10A, Integrated Half-Bridge Power Stage in a QFN-26 (7mmx7mm) Package | MPS (monolithicpower.com)
This is also assuming the following package types are ok with your application. We look forward to your response such that we may help you further.
Best,
Krishan
