I would like to use MP023 and MP9989 with Transform GaN Fet to do 50W to 60W of power.
Input voltage: 90V to 265VAC
Output Voltage: 28V
Output current: ~1.5 to 2 amps
Thanks

Easy peasy. The 10W reference design uses a 1.5 ohm fet with Qg of 15nc
Go over to Transphorm and see what you can find. Well the output power has gone up 5X means the fets I2C loss has gone up 25X. So pick a Fet wtih 1/25th the RDS out of Transphorm catalog, so in the region of 60mohm. TP65H050G4BS is 60 mohm and has 16nC of Qg. so looks very plausible. I wouldn’t bother at first with sync rec or at least be sure you have space for a big diode as a backup plan.
