Hi,
We have a new board that is designed for the MPM3683GMN-10 chip. We have used the MPM3683-7 chip on previous designs, so we have some stock of this chip. The footprint is very similar, execpt on the -10 device, there is an extra VIN pad just above pins 8 and 9. This pad is not on the -7 chip.
My question is, can I install a -7 chip onto the new board that is designed for a -10 chip?
We have some stock of -7 chips, but can’t seem to get -10 chips in time for our prototype build.
