BOOST or BUCKBOOST

Hello ,

I was wondering if the meaning of BOOST or BUCK boost involve a greater voltage at the output of the charger than the voltage of the battery itsefl.

For my application , i have not a lot of volume to put many batteries.
I need an ouput voltage of 7 volt mini .
Using 2 series batteries is a solution but cost a lot of space.
I have to feed 2 LDO which produce regulated 5V and 3.3V 2A

Do you have a solution which can provide the following with on single LI-ION batterie:

Output voltage > 7V
Shipping mode

Hello daniel.zanardi,

I believe the only option that can support a 7V output would be the MP2639B. Do you only have devices running off of 5V and 3.3V or do you really need the 7V? Also, what is using 2A?
