I need a balanced dual +/-15V supply from Vin= 9V. Load current on each output will be ~150mA. Can the MP1542 be set up to do this?
Yes,
make a normal 9V to +15V boost and make a diode+capacitor style charge pump for the -15V from the SW node. You might need to add some small series resistors on the charge pump that you do not trip the switch OC during commutation.
