Ask about RIMON of the hot swap controller MP5990

Hi MPS team,
I have some question about the Hot swap controller MP5990:

  1. In the datasheet, there is a register IOUT_CAL_GAIN (38h) which sets the IOUT report gain. Could you let me know how it affects the Iout?
  2. Per datasheet: “RIMON can beconfigured via IOUT_CAL_GAIN (38h) and stored in the NVM”, How does this work? Do we need to connect with an external resistor (RIMON) if we configured the IOUT_CAL_GAIN?
  3. I want to set IOUT_OC_FAULT_LIMIT (46h) to current 70A and RIMON (external resistor) = 2kOhms. Do we have any formula for calculating the RIMON or just choose to satisfy: “The recommended IMON voltage (VIMON) range is 0V to 1.6V, which is also within the internal ADC-sensing limit”
