I’m will use the MP2759 to charge two or three strings of lithium batteries.
Since this chip does not contain lithium battery discharge management, I intend to add discharge protection features inside the battery pack.
So the problem is, what happens if the battery pack is in discharge protection and the MP2759 will not detect battery voltage?

Please look at figure 2 in the data sheet to understand how the charger would react to different battery voltage.
If a battery voltage under the Vbatt_tc limit is detected it would go into trickle charge.
