Hello, we need a DC-DC inverter (Vin = +12V, Vout = -12V, Iout = 50mA), no isolation. We prefer a module solution.

The sleazy way to do it is renaming the terminals of a buck converter.
Take a MPM3506A demo board, set it up for 12V out
Consider the Vout pin as GND,
Connect the input 12V to Vin and (your new ground) Vout
Connect the load between Vout ( your new ground) and GND ( which should pump down to -12V
You have to fret about the EN pin perhaps and you might need a preload.
Still the demo is attractively priced
