MPM54304 safe mode

I have a question about safe mode listed on page 20 of the data sheet.
In order to operate in safe mode, it says “VIN powers up and EN / SYNCI is pulled high”. What is the difference between this and normal startup?
Also, please tell me the detailed method to operate in safe mode.

Hello tatsuro_kishimoto,

So MPM54304 starts up in safe mode during the MTP programming. This allows the SoC to start-up without any damage as stated on page 20 of the datasheet. Once the registers and MTP program is done, the buck regulators will startup sequentially and proceed with normal operation.
