I saw that when ramping up the load the SYNCO outputs until is about 10% of the max load and then the sync dissapears and sometimes appears again. Unfortunatly I see no clear pattern here that I can rely on for syncing secondary devices. The datasheet says there will by no SYNC output in ‘ sleep mode’ . But sleep mode is not explained anywhere in the datasheet. Is sleep the same as AAM mode maybe? Can anybody also clarify about the different modes of operation and how it depends on the voltage level set with the CCM/AAM resistor?
Hi,
I will reach out to the PL and get back to you on the different modes of the device.
Best,
Tyler
Hi,
Sleep mode is the same as AAM. When working in AAM mode, the switching frequency will decrease, and SYNCO output high voltage instead of CLK (in DCM/CCM mode).
